CIOs, CTOs, and IT Leaders

Want to simplify your architecture?

Tired of single point solutions that do not scale?

Need waveforms for remote monitoring & AI?

Create a single, scalable vendor-neutral virtual care and analytics architecture to meet clinical needs, reduce costs, increase revenue, and improve operational efficiencies.

Create a Single, Unified Architecture

Healthcare has been plagued with implementing a series of siloed, single point solutions to solve clinical needs, most of which do not interconnect, create disparate workflows and don’t scale. Such inefficiencies create challenges for CTO’s, CIO’s, IT leaders and healthcare professionals tasked with managing the infrastructure and staff resources. As the healthcare industry rapidly expands into the new frontier of virtual care, now is the time for change. Virtual care and AI provides an opportunity to revolutionize how risk and deterioration are managed in patient care.

View this video to see how your organization create a single, scalable, unified platform for both clinical care delivery and research to enable connected care at scale and solve global clinical and operational needs across the healthcare system.

Want to find out how a hospital system was able to demonstrate savings of $14.8M in capital and $4.2M in annual maintenance across their eight facilities by replacing five separate, single-point solution applications with Sickbay™?

LOWER MDI COSTS

Avoid the expense of bedside hardware, maintenance and upgrades by leveraging your network architecture for secure, scalable medical device integration (MDI).

ENABLE REAL-TIME MONITORING

Unlock real-time and unlimited historical waveform data so your clinical staff can remotely monitor patients from any location.

ACCELERATE RESEARCH & AI

Give your team access to waveform data and tools to expedite research and grant submissions and build their own algorithms and AI at scale.

MDI Re-Defined

Biomedical/clinical engineers have been helping to deliver medical device connectivity to hospitals and healthcare systems for over a decade. But it’s time to bring medical device integration (MDI) into the 21st century. It’s time to leverage MDI to go beyond EMR documentation to enable remote monitoring, virtual care, and patient-centered AI across the entire healthcare continuum to help create a new standard of data-driven care.

To enable this change, we need to unlock data from the bedside including waveforms, alarms, alarm limits and settings from the many devices a patient is connected to. And, we need to find a new way to enable that MDI without having to place another piece of hardware next to the patient’s bed.

See how you can leverage your network architecture to do this and more.

Remove Manual Burden of ECG Documentation From Staff

Automating vitals documentation is proven to improve accuracy in the EMR, save thousands in staffing hours, and improve reimbursements. However the documentation of waveforms such as ECG strips is equally burdensome and costly. In fact, after performing an assessment of the time spent manually printing, measuring, and scanning ECG strips into the EMR, MIC found that an average 150-bed hospital could spend more than $400,000 a year for over 12,000 hours of manual labor time.

In addition to these unnecessary costs, the potential for lost revenue exists if those ECG strips do not make it into the EMR for reimbursement. In fact, one 150-bed hospital was losing more than $700,000 a month on ECG strips alone when processes changed and ECG documentation was dropped. Since CMS now mandates the proof of time during which patients are on a ventilator, documentation needs for other monitoring services may also be demanded.

See how much your hospital can save in manual labor costs by automating your strip charting process today.

MIC’s Sickbay™ Platform

MIC’s FDA-cleared software-based Sickbay™ platform is challenging the world of patient monitoring and analytics to create a new standard of data-driven care. This is accomplished by automating the collection of patient data from the bedside to bring it to care teams wherever they are so they can:

  • Expedite root cause analysis and intervention,
  • Improve care team collaboration,
  • Remove manual processes, and
  • Improve overall quality of patient care and outcomes.

Together, we believe we can change the face of medicine, save more lives, and help care teams get back to focusing on patients instead of data. Click here to learn more about Sickbay™ and MIC. Check out MIC's resource center for additional articles, videos, news and white papers.
